What is SDGs
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
Proactive involvement in delivering the SDGs
Informetis will contribute to practical actions for a carbon-neutral society by evolving the passive legacy energy infrastructure into an active, smart and valuable energy data infrastructure. Towards achieving the SDGs goals in 2030, we will focus on the following 6 areas alongside growing our own business.

Wider adoption of sustainable energy is mandatory to achieve a carbon neutral society. Our technology solution can contribute in optimising energy management using high resolution energy data both within the home as well as for load balancing of the grid.

In order to continuously improve our corporate value, we recognize that it is important to establish corporate ethics based on legal compliance, prompt management decisions, and enhance management check functions. For this reason, in order to strive for fair and accurate information disclosure and increase management transparency, we have established a general meeting of shareholders, board of directors, board of corporate auditors, and accounting auditor as bodies stipulated in the Companies Act. Our group will continue to enhance corporate governance while further strengthening, improving, and developing functional systems related to corporate governance.

We have appointed lawyers with specialized knowledge and experience in corporate legal affairs as outside directors, and all three corporate auditors are outside corporate auditors, strengthening our governance functions. Furthermore, all outside directors and outside corporate auditors are designated as independent officers based on the rules of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and are notified. Furthermore, in order to ensure the transparency and objectivity of the decision-making process regarding director remuneration, we have established a voluntary remuneration committee whose majority are independent outside officers. |
