What is AI optimised V2H control system?
V2H (Vehicle to Home) refers to the battery of an EV as a huge storage battery. When the EV is not in use, surplus power from PV generation is charged during the day and discharged at night, by doing so reducing the purchase of electricity from the grid. It also can be used as an emergency power source in times of natural disaster. We provide a control system that further enhances the economic effects of V2H by using AI to optimally plan and control charging and discharging.
Features of AI optimised control
Not only does it formulate a charging/discharging plan using information such as the next day’s household power consumption prediction and the amount of PV generation predicted from the next day’s local weather forecast, but it also recalculates the plan every 30 minutes to adapt to the latest situation. Even if there is a sudden change in such conditions, we will revise the plan to be optimal. This reduces the amount of electricity purchased from the grid and achieves higher economic benefits.
